Visit the SCANDERBEG’TOMB and the Cathedral of St. Nicholas. Relax by breathing the fresh air at the “Hunting Lodge” 2km away from the town of Lezha. Transfer to Montenegro Cross border.

Walking along the main boulevard, you will see the Opera house, Municipality, and Government Buildings. Transfer to Montenegro Cross border.

Day 1: Arrival-Tirana
Arrival at Mother Theresa Airport in the afternoon and transfer to Tirana for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tirana-Durres-Berat
After breakfast drive to Durres. This busy port city has one of the largest Roman amphitheaters in the Balkans. Durres is one of the oldest Roman cities in the Mediterranean and the largest sea-port in Albania. After lunch we drive to Berat. Its castles and fort date back 2400 years. Overnight in Berat.
Day 3: Berat-Apollonia-Vlora-Saranda

Morning departure to visit the archaeological site of Apollonia. Leaving Fier drive south to the coastal city of Vlora. Vlora is legendary in Albanian history as the city where Albanian independence from Turks was proclaimed on November 28, 1912. Drive southward from Vlora to.Saranda enjoying the spectacular views of mountains and the Albanian Riviera. Stop over in seaside villages of Dhermi, Himara and Borsh. Overnight in Saranda.
Day 4: Saranda-Butrint
Morning visit to the Greek and Roman ruins of Butrint, Albania’s most important archaeological site. After a leisurely exploration, we will lunch overlooking the Ionian. Return to Saranda for some free time. Dinner and overnight in Saranda.
Day 5: Saranda-Gjirokastra-Permet-Korca
Leave Saranda for the Museum city of Gjirokastra. Visit its fortress and armaments museum. After lunch leave for Korca via Permet know for its production of traditional raki and wine. Overnight in Korca, the commercial and cultural capital of Southern Albania.
Day 6: Korca-Voskopoja

Early morning visit to the new Bratko Museum of Asian Art and a visit to the first school teaching the Albanian language established Albania in 1887. The first girls’ school in the country was established in Korce in 1891. Drive to Voskopoja to visit the Church of St.Nicholas, which is a treasure of early 18th century frescoes. Drive to Dardha a typical Albanian village from where many of its inhabitants immigrated to America in the early 1900’s. Return to Korca for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Korca-St Naum-Gostivar
Departure from Korca, for a short journey to Pogradec, on the shores of Lake Ohrid. Cross the border into the Macedonian countryside. Short stop over in St. Naum. Continue towards Gostivar for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Gostivar-Prishtina-Skopje
Morning Departure from Gostivar to Prishtina, capital city of Kosova. Sightseeing of the city and return to Skopje. Skopje was an important city for the Turks from the end of the 14th century and to this day it still retains that influence. Today it is a thriving modern city. The largest Turkish bath in the Balkans is located here and is now an art museum. Later we will visit the old Turkish bazaar. Dinner and overnight in Skopje.
Day 9: Skopje-Ohrid 
Visit the old Turkish bazaar and the National Museum in Skopje. After lunch departure for Ohrid for dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Ohrid
Morning tour of the area with its many fine Byzantine Churches and monasteries. It is in this region that the Early Christian Orthodox Bishops created the Cyrillic alphabet in about 900AD. Dinner and overnight in Ohrid.
Day 11: Ohrid-Elbasan-Tirana
Morning departure from Ohrid to Tirana.on the way visit of Lin Village a very interesting place with the 5 th century colorful mosaics. Stop for lunch in Elbasan city a very nice place with a castle built on the 4 th century A.D. by Justinian Emperor. Stop in the Petrela castle for a short time. Transfer in Tirana overnight there for dinner and overnight.
Day 12: Kruja-Departure
Departure for Kruja, home of Albania’s most important hero, Scanderbeg, who in the 15th century successfully fought off the Turks for over thirty years. Sightseeing of his castle, the impressive Scanderbeg Museum and old bazaar. Transfer to the airport for afternoon departure.

Southern and coastal Albania from Corfu ( Greece) (SICT6)

Day 1: Corfu-Butrint-Saranda

Day 2:Vlora-Berat
Morning departure for Berat driving along the coast line with spectacular views. Stop for lunch in Vlora seaside. Visit of castle and fort date back 2400 years, The Little Church of St. Theodore, Cathedral, St. Nicholas, Bachelors Mosque, The King Mosque etc. Transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3:Berat-Gjirokastra-Saranda
Morning departure for Gjirokastra. Visit its fortress, Open-air Theatre, the Obelisk, the Mosque etc. Lunch in “Blue Eye” natural spot formed by underground water springs, shrouded full of trees where you can fill the fresh air even in summer time. Return to Saranda for dinner and overnight.

Day 1: Corfu-Butrint-Saranda

They have only one common element, the stone. All the homes have the form of mediaval towers. Visit to the castle which stands out above the city as a balcony, providing the possibility for visitors to enjoy the beautiful landscape. The castle houses the National Museum of Weapons, which preserves all the kinds of weapons used and produced by the Albanians from antiquity. Visit to “Syri I Kalter” – “Blue Eye” Dinner and overnight in Saranda.
Day 4: Saranda-Borsh-Llogara-Vlora
After breakfast trip to Vlora. Along the seashore to arrive to Vlora you can visit the castle of Porto Palermo. It is also known as the castle of Ali Pashe Tepelena. The walls of the castle are 1.6 m thick. After visiting this castle, the road along the seashore passes many beautiful villages such as Qeparo which is a very large and sunny beach, Borsh and LLogara.. Dinner and overnight in Vlora.
Day 5: Vlora-Berat
After breakfast trip to Berat v isit of Berat known as the “city of one thousand windows”. Visit to the castle raised predominantly over the city. Within its walls there are dwelling houses and the “ Onufri Museum”, the paintings of him and his son Nikolla are exhibited there. Visit also to old part of the city where there are some religious buildings like Mosques and Byzantine Churches. Dinner and overnight in Berat.
Day 6: Berat-Apollonia-Durres
Breakfast and transfer to Ancient city of Apollonia the most important archeological centre in the country. Visit to the Monument of Agonethetes , the Library , the Odeon, the House with Mosaics , the Museum of Apollonia , and the Church of Saint Mary. Departure for Durres, visit the Fortress of the city and the Amphitheatre. Visit the famous mosaic “The Beauty of Durres”, the Archeological Museum travel to Apollonia ,. Day 7: Durres-Kruja-Tirana
Breakfast and t ravel to Kruja. A narrow path, formerly used as a characteristic medieval bazaar, leads you to the Citadel of Kruja. The Citadel was built by the local population after the invasion of the Goths. It is on a strategic position offering magnificent views to the visitors, visit to the castle, housing the museum of Gjergj Scanderbeg. Departure for Tirana, s ightseeing tour of Tirana visits in National Museum, Scanderbeg Square etc. Dinner and overnight in Tirana.
Day 8: Tirana-Shkoder-Budva
Morning departure for Shkodra. Visit to the Rozafa Fortress, the catholic Church etc. An object worthy to be seen is the Mesi Bridge of the Kiri river, 8 km away from the city of Medieval Age. Transfer to Budva.
Day 9: Budva-Kotorr-Dubrovnik
After breakfast, Departure for Kotor Bay, t his bay is one of the most magnificent “fjords” on the Mediterranean and is flanked by an exceptionally rich variety of cultural monuments from all ages.
